Itinerary

Our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Delhi. You will be travelling by road to Jaipur. The road distance is about 268 kms which can be covered in about 7 to 8 hours with a 2 hour stop for lunch at the famous Neemrana Fort. Alternatively, if you are arriving at Jaipur directly, our representative will meet you at Jaipur airport.

Check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day in leisure.

Start your day with a Hot Air Balloon ride. You will get a birds’ eye view of the Pink City of Jaipur and its various forts and palaces.

After breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing tour with your guide.

Amer Fort - Also called Amber Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site. An architectural masterpiece, it was built by one of the most trusted generals of Emperor Akbar, Maharaja Man Singh I in the year 1592 and has served as the main residence of the Rajput Rulers for many centuries. At the fort, your guide will show you Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirror), Suraj Pol (Sun Gate), Sukh Mahal (Palace of Ivory and Sandalwood), the administrative block among others.

Panna Meen Ka Khund - This is an ancient stepwell located just outside Amer Fort. It is beautifully designed and will give you a glimpse of what local life would have looked like in the ancient times.

Jaipur Heritage Walking Tour - Starting at the famous Hawa Mahal or The Palace of Winds, the walking tour will cover Jantar Mantar, Centuries-Old Shiva Temple, Albert Hall Museum, Tallest historical building of Jaipur, the lane where ‘Royal Priests’ for the kings used to live and many more historically & culturally rich places.

Post breakfast, visit the City Palace, the royal residence of the ruling King of Jaipur. The magnificent palace is home to many treasures of the royal family that are on display for visitors. As you walk through the palace, you will see the Throne Room, the Hall of Public Audiences, The royal Dinning Hall and other exquisitely decorated rooms.

After lunch, leave for Rathambore and check into the resort near the national park. Spend the evening at leisure and enjoy the famous Rajputana hospitality.

The Ranthambore Tiger Reserve is among the world’s most prominent tiger reserves and is home to the majestic Bengal Tigers. The morning and evening safari will give you chance to get an up-close encounter with the tigers in their natural habitat.

Head back to Jaipur and spend the evening at the many Bazaars (Traditional Markets) shopping for handicrafts, souvenirs, jewelry and traditional clothes.

After breakfast, check out from hotel and board your flight for Udaipur – The city of Lakes.

Check into your hotel and head out for a tour of the City Palace considered to be the largest royal complex in Rajasthan. The magnificent palace was built in the year 1559 by Maharana Uday Singh and served as the main seat of power, where the Maharanas lived and administered the kingdom. The Palace now has an assortment of Mahals, courtyards, pavilions, corridors, terraces, rooms and hanging gardens. There is a museum here as well that showcases some of the finest elements of Rajput arts and culture - from colorful paintings to the typical architecture found in Rajasthani palaces.

End the day watching the sunset at Lake Pichola, an artificial fresh water lake. The boat ride on the lake around sunset offers a breathtaking view of the Lake and City Palace as well as the famous ghats and historic temples on the banks of the lake.

After breakfast, visit the artisanal village, Shilpgram, an experiential museum and marketplace. Spread over 70 acres, this experiential village has more than two dozen huts that display unique arts and crafts from Rajasthan. Taste authentic Rajasthani food at the many food stalls here.

Bagore Ki Haveli - Built in the 18th century by Amar Chand Badwa, the then Prime minister of Mewar kingdom, the haveli stands magnificently on Lake Pichola at Gangori Ghat and is the finest example of Mewar’s aristocratic culture, splendid architecture and skilled craftsmanship.

End the day with the Darohar Dance Show which showcases the various Rajasthani dances such as Chari Dance, Ghumar Dance, Terha Taal Dance etc.

After breakfast, leave for Jodhpur. On the way, stop at the Ranakpur Temples, acclaimed world-wide for their intricate and superb architectural style. These temples form one of the five major pilgrimages of the Jains.

Check into your hotel and spend the evening at your leisure.

After breakfast, visit the world famous Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India. The sprawling complex featured in movies like the The Lion King and the Dark Knight Rises has many legends associated with it. Explore the various fascinating rooms, royal apartments, antique artillery and gates of the fort.

Umaid Bhavan Palace is one of the most opulent palaces in India. Built for a noble cause with the purpose of giving employment to the people of Jodhpur during a long period of drought and famine, it took 16 years to complete the construction. The museum has one of the best collections of royal artifacts and a fantastic display of vintage cars.

Head out for a safari to experience rural Rajasthan. Interact with local rural Bishnoi community (a community that imbibes an environment friendly lifestyle), see the abundant wildlife & bird life the region has to offer, visit a village and enjoy a picnic lunch with the locals.

Spend your evening browsing the Jodhpur markets famous for silver jewelry, colorful paintings etc.

After an early breakfast leave for Jaisalmer. On reaching Jaisalmer, head out directly for a one night stay in the sand dunes. Enjoy camel rides in the sand dunes, Rajasthani food & dances and spend the night in the surreal stillness of Thar desert.

After breakfast, head to the Laungewala War Memorial, a symbol of the courage, bravery and valor of Indian soldiers at the historical Battle of Laungewala in 1971.

Return to the city, check into your hotel and head out for a Private Walking tour of the city of Jaisalmer. Check out the golden Jaipur fort and some of the intricately carved havelis (historic mansions) and other historical sites. Round of the day with the light and sound show at Gadisar Lake.

Day 13 – Return to Delhi via flight
