Check into your hotel and get some rest.

In the evening, visit Kerala Kathakali Center and enjoy a performance of the iconic Kathakali dance. This magnificent dance form shows deep emotions blended with graceful hand movements to portray dialogues from Hindu Epics.

Start your day early to visit the Cheena Vala, also called Chinese Fishing Nets. The hammock like structures installed in the 14th century are a part of Kochi’s cultural identity. Watch the local fishermen lower and lift the nets to get their daily catch against the backdrop of the sunrise.

Post breakfast, visit the famous sites of Kochi.

Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica is one of the most beautiful churches in Kochi with its gothic architecture. Built in the 16th century by the Portuguese, this church was the original burial place for Vasco Da Gama after his death in 1524.

Mattancherry Palace holds an impressive display of artefacts and other articles of the kings of Kochi. The museum is a glimpse into the wealth and splendour of the old kingdoms and exquisite traditional arts of Kerala.

Pardesi Synagogue is one of the oldest and still active synagogues in the Commonwealth of Nations. Built in 1568, it reflects a unique blend of Jewish and Malabari architecture. Adorned with hand-painted Chinese tiles and housing ancient scrolls, the synagogue is a historic and culturally rich landmark in Kerala.

Walk around Jew town, hunt for antiques and check out the heritage homes.

Spend your evening relaxing at the many cafés by the seaside.

Post breakfast, leave for Munnar. On the way, see the Athirapally waterfalls also called the "Niagara falls of India." The sheer volume and force of the waterfall surrounded by dense forests is a sight to see.

Munnar is renowned for its sprawling tea estates. Take a guided tour of a tea plantation to witness the tea-making process, from plucking the leaves to processing and packaging. You'll also get to see the stunning views of the lush green hills, a photographer’s dream.

Visit Eravikulam National Park, that specifically protects and preserves the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. The park is known for its diverse flora & fauna and you can enjoy a scenic ride to the top in the park's shuttle buses.

Start your day with a trek to Anamudi, the highest peak in South India. The thrilling trek takes you through dense forests and offers panoramic views of the Western Ghats.

Enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Mattupetty Dam and take in the beautiful surroundings. The dam is nestled amidst hills and forests, offering a serene atmosphere. The nearby Indo-Swiss Dairy Farm is also worth a visit.

Leave early for Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Enjoy a tribal dance performance in the evening.

Take a day long guided trek and see the animals in their natural habitat. Besides, tigers, Periyar Tiger Reserve is known for its elephant population, rare lion-tailed macaques, sambar deer, leopards and Indian bison.

Visit Elephant Junction and get an up-close encounter with elephants. Enjoy activities like elephant rides, bathing and feeding these majestic animals. Also, visit the Periyar lake and the tribal villages.

Post breakfast, leave for Ashtamudi. A four hour drive from Thekkady, Ashtamudi is famous for it’s backwaters. Stay overnight on the backwater houseboat cruise.

The traditional houseboats, equipped with modern amenities, provide a comfortable and immersive experience of Kerala's backwater life. As the sun sets, enjoy a scenic dinner on the deck, followed by a peaceful night's sleep to the soothing sounds of gently lapping water. Varkala is quaint town just 40kms from Ashtamudi. It is most famous for a unique cliffside beach and Ayurvedic treatments.

Upon reaching, visit Varkala's cliffside beach. Relax on Varkala Beach and explore the cliffside shops and cafes.
