Explore the Splendour of Jaipur
Jaipur, also called the Pink City of India, is one of the most beautiful and culturally rich cities in India. It’s a destination that’s shaped by royal living traditions where you will see the most breathtaking palaces and forts, experience age old customs & crafts still being practiced today on the backdrop of the scenic Aravalli Mountains.
This enchanting city is a must visit whether you are travelling for work to India or are looking at a short vacation. It is a treasure trove of must visit attractions, exotic hotels, adventures and fascinating cuisine.




Itinerary
Pick Up – 8 AM from Delhi
Our representative will pick you up from your hotel. You will be travelling by road to Jaipur. The road distance is about 268 kms which can be covered in about 7 to 8 hours with a 2 hour stop for lunch at the famous Neemrana Fort.
Neemrana Fort – This 14th century fort, which has now been converted into a luxury resort, is an idyllic stop for lunch. We will take an audio visual tour of this fort built by the descendants of the famous Rajput King – Prithviraj Chauhan followed by buffet lunch at the palace restaurant.
(Note: If you are travelling from Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune or any other city in India, our representative will meet you directly at the Jaipur Airport.)
At Jaipur, you will be staying at a Heritage Haveli. (We will share hotel options with you to choose from based on your budget). Our representative will help you with the check in formalities and you can spend the rest of the day in leisure.
Amer Fort – Post breakfast, we will leave for Amer Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is an architectural masterpiece. Also called Amber Fort, it was built by one of the most trusted generals of Emperor Akbar, Maharaja Man Singh I in the year 1592 and has served as the main residence of the Rajput Rulers for many centuries. At the fort, your guide will show you Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirror), Suraj Pol (Sun Gate), Sukh Mahal (Palace of Ivory and Sandalwood), the administrative block among others. You can also take a walk on the ramparts of the fort and soak in the grandiose beauty of the majestic Aravalli Hills.
You can have lunch at 1135AD, a restaurant located inside Amer Fort boasting of Maharaja’s cuisine and ambience.
On the way to Jaipur, we will stop to see:
Jal Mahal – meaning the Water Palace, is located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. This beautiful palace made of red sandstone and is a perfect spot for taking great pictures.
Panna Meena Ka Kund – This is an ancient stepwell located just outside Amer Fort. It is beautifully designed and will give you a glimpse of what the local life would have looked like in the ancient times.
Chowki Dhani – After returning from Amer Fort, you can rest or head out to some of the bazaars (markets). In the evening you will get a chance to experience Rajasthani cuisine along with Rajasthani folk arts and dances at the famous Chokhi Dhani Village Fair. This mock village resort is a perfect mirror to Rajasthani culture, traditions and customs.
Hot Air Balloon – This day will start early as you watch the sunrise from a hot air balloon and get a bird’s eye view of the beautiful pink city of Jaipur and landscapes around the city. The ride will take you over some of the historical landmarks (Hawa Mahal, Samode Palace and Village etc.)
Hawa Mahal and City Palace – Post breakfast, we will head out to see the most famous landmarks of this city. Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed so that women of the royal family could watch the streets and festivals unobserved. However, this palace is also a feat of engineering. As you walk inside the palace, you will notice the constant flow of wind even on a non-windy day. Before heading to City Palace, take the quintessential Jaipur photograph at the rear end of Hawa Mahal with its lattice like structure boasting of 900 plus (Jharokhas) windows.
The City Palace is the royal residence of the ruling King of Jaipur. The magnificent palace is home to many treasures of the royal family that are on display for visitors. As you walk through the palace, you will see the Throne Room, the Hall of Public Audiences, The royal Dinning Hall and other exquisitely decorated rooms. End your tour with a meal at Baradari, a restaurant run by the ruling King - Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh.
Blue Pottery Workshop – Indulge in the traditional craft of Jaipur as you visit a Blue Pottery workshop and get a firsthand experience on how these unique art pieces are created.
We will leave for Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, one of the world’s most prominent tiger reserves that is home to the majestic Bengal Tigers. The morning and evening safari will give you chance to get an up-close encounter with the tigers in their natural habitat. In addition, you can enjoy famous Rajputana hospitality at your resort.
After the morning safari, we will head back to Jaipur. On reaching the city, check into your hotel and spend the evening browsing through the various Bazaars (traditional markets) for handicrafts, souvenirs, jewelry and traditional clothes. Our representative will guide you based on what you would like to see. We recommend you visit Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar.
Day 6 – Leave for Delhi by road or catch a flight from Jaipur airport
