Uttar Pradesh, the heartland of India boasts of a rich tapestry of spirituality, history, and culture. The holy triangle, comprising of the cities of Ayodhya, Prayagraj and Varanasi are one of the most sacred places in Hinduism.

Ayodhya is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in India. Immortalized by the great epic Ramayana as the birthplace of Lord Rama, this ancient city holds immense significance in Hindu mythology and spirituality.

Prayagraj is known for the confluence of the Rivers – Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati, known as the Triveni Sangam. Prayagraj is also steeped in the history of the Indian Independence movement being the home of Jawaharlal Nehru.

Varanasi, also known as Kashi, or Banaras, is considered to be one of the oldest pilgrimage destinations in India. The city which lies on the banks of the River Ganga exudes mysticism and is home to some of the most important beacons of Hindu culture.

Itinerary

Arrive at Ayodhya, check into your hotel. Post lunch, visit the newly reconstructed Ram Temple located at the site of Ram Janmabhoomi, the mythical birthplace of Lord Rama. Watch the Aarti on the banks of the holy River Sarayu.

Visit some of the key temples in Ayodhya – Shri Hanuman Garhi Mandir, Kanak Bhavan, Nageshwarnath Temple and Raj Dwar Mandir among others. Post lunch, leave for Prayagraj. Evening is free for rest and relaxation.

Early morning, proceed for a boat ride to the Triveni Sangam and take a dip at the holy site. Return to the hotel, post breakfast, checkout and visit the key historical sites in Prayagraj – Anand Bhawan – the ancestral home of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Hanuman Temple. Post lunch, leave for Varanasi. Evening is free for rest and relaxation.

Experience the Mangala Aarti at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Return to hotel, post breakfast, visit the key temples of Varanasi – Maa Annapurna Temple, Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir, Kal Bhairav Mandir and Durga Mandir In the evening experience the awe-inspiring Ganga Aarti by boat at the Dashashwamedh Ghat.

Watch the sunrise on a boat ride on the River Ganga. See the famous ghats of Varanasi – Manikarnika Ghat, Assi Ghat, Panchganga Ghat among others. Post breakfast, visit Sarnath – known as the place where Gautama Buddha delivered his first sermon. Visit the Dhamek Stupa, Ashoka’s Pillar, Sarnath Temple and Museum. Post lunch, visit Ram Nagar Fort and Banaras Hindu University. In the early evening, visit the Kashi Vishwanath corridor from Lalita Ghat and spend time at the Kashi Vishwanath temple. Spend time to explore Varanasi for Banarasi Sarees and other handicrafts.
